This project focused on monetising part of Euroclear’s data assets. The objective was to generate value from selected datasets while maintaining compliance and alignment with organisational priorities.

Project description

The Euroclear Data Project aimed to identify, prepare, and monetise specific datasets. The scope involved determining which data could be monetised, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, and establishing the processes to bring this data to market.

With a budget of €200,000 and a project team of five, the work was delivered using a combination of PMP and Agile practices. The key deliverable was a framework enabling the monetisation of part of Euroclear’s data.

This project supported Euroclear’s strategic goal of unlocking value from data assets, creating new revenue opportunities while maintaining operational integrity. The approach combined structured planning with iterative delivery, allowing for adjustments based on findings during execution.

Project management excellence

As Data & Resilience Project Manager, I was responsible for the full lifecycle of the project. PMP principles provided structure, while Agile practices supported flexibility and responsiveness to evolving needs.

Collaboration within the team was encouraged through regular reviews, open discussions, and a shared commitment to the project’s objectives. Feedback was integrated quickly, ensuring progress remained on track.

Stakeholder management involved regular communication with decision-makers and relevant departments to ensure technical and business requirements were fully met. This ensured the outcomes aligned with the wider organisational strategy.
